A good workspace goes far with a theme. Justin David Cox is a designer who works at a collective for creative professionals called Public School, and his desk embodies the style of the organization.
All it took was a simple wooden desk, a class bell, some books, and a chalkboard to put this theme together. While you might not come by the bell too easily, everything else is readily available (and you may have it already). If you don't want to get an actual chalkboard, you can just paint one. You don't have to have a school theme, of course. You can choose any style you want. Justin's workspace just goes to show how effective a well-chosen and executed theme can be.
If you have a workspace of your own to show off, throw the pictures on your Flickr account and add it to the Lifehacker Workspace Show and Tell Pool. Include some details about your setup and why it works for you, and you just might see it featured on the front page of Lifehacker.
