Authorities are searching for whoever killed a 79-year-old church volunteer in her home near Willmar.
?? ?
The body of Lila Warwick was found Monday evening by Kandiyohi County sheriff's deputies, who were called to her home.
?? ?
Sheriff Daniel Hartog says someone from Redeemer Lutheran Church called the sheriff's office requesting a check on Warwick.
?? ?
Warwick lived alone. The Star Tribune reports she helped with office duties and vacation Bible school at the church.
?? ?
An autopsy is pending. The West Central Tribune reports there have been no arrests.
?? ?
Both the sheriff's office and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff's office.
